Garjiya Devi Temple

Situated about 14 km from Ramnagar and on the way to Ranikhet there is one huge rock that is present in the midst of the Kosi River. This particular place has been named the Garjia Devi Temple after the deity. Devotees from different parts of the country visit this temple every year. On the event of Kartik Poornima, a large fair is held here. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Parvati. She is worshipped as Garjia Devi, the daughter of the Himalayas here. Besides, Goddess Parvati, there are idols of other Gods and Goddesses too placed here, such as Lord Shiva, Goddess Saraswati, Baba Bhairon and Lord Ganesha.

Naina Devi temple
The Naina Devi Temple is situated on the banks of the Gobind Sagar Lake. Temple is dedicated to Goddess Naina Devi. Legends believe that Sati's left eye dropped on the course of Lord Shiva's strode of earth at the death of Sati. That’s how the temple was christened Naina (meaning eye) Devi Temple. The name of the hill station, Nainital is also derived from this temple.

Hanuman Garhi Temple

The Hanuman Garhi Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanumanji. Built by Neem Karoli Baba, a local saint the temple it is situated south of Tallital. It is built on a beautiful hill and one can easily view the magnificent sun set & valley view of the Tarai from here. Couples often visit the place to watch the sun gliding down the mountains. This makes the place even more interesting and sought after.

Mukteshwar Temple

The Mukteshwar Temple was named after the 350 year old Mukteshwer Dham whose presiding deity is known to be Lord Shiva. The mountain top on that Mukteshwar Dham is situated displays a phenomenal view of Himalayan range. The temple was developed by the Britishers as part of research.
